Sparked by an ingenious idea for a superior boat dock system, our small family run business began as R&D Manufacturing Inc. in Forest Lake, Minnesota. What set us apart, from any other dock on the market, was our "V" beam support structure. Consequently, we coined the name "V-Dock". Over the years, V-Dock's engineers have achieved a lightweight, sturdy, quiet, durable, safe, elegant and simple boat dock system. Three of their ideas were so unique, they earned U.S. patents. V-Dock's most popular dock is our Roll-in-Dock. The V-Dock Roll-in-Dock is easy to install and just as easy to take out in the Fall. The versatility of the V-Dock Roll-in-Dock has proven itself over the years in comprising over 80% of our annual sales.
Due to our patented brake-away post bracket, V-Dock's Post Sectional Docks are easier to install than traditional post style docks and still very economical.
Add a Roll-n-Float system to V-Dock's Post Sectional Docks to accommodate installation in very mucky bottoms or deep water. This is our Plan B option if a Roll-in-Dock or a Post Sectional Dock will not work in a particular lakeshore situation.
