Sparked by an ingenious idea for a superior boat dock system, our small family run business began as R&D Manufacturing Inc. in Forest Lake, Minnesota. What set us apart, from any other dock on the market, was our "V" beam support structure. Consequently, we coined the name "V-Dock". Over the years, V-Dock's engineers have achieved a lightweight, sturdy, quiet, durable, safe, elegant and simple boat dock system. Three of their ideas were so unique, they earned U.S. patents.
